Matty's Journey

When Matty came to us nearly three years ago he had no experience with employment, and no Medicare card, bank account, drivers licence, or even a birth certificate. There were many ups and downs along the way as we worked with Matty to sort out the massive obstacle of having no identification/documentation. We helped him uncover his identity, and work his way back in from the margins of society and receive the benefits that that entails. Matty also needed help getting his licence, which could only happen after all of the identification documentation was in order. It has been a long journey - we all know how long and drawn out any process is when there is red tape involved!

With consistent guidance and support Matt has come a long way - now all of the problems he faced are problems of the past. With three years and counting at Canstation, Matty has a bright future ahead and our next goal is to help him find suitable and sustainable mainstream employment and a vehicle to get him there.

Which brings us to this question for all of our Substation33 supporters - can anyone help Matty with a vehicle? Help us help Matty get even further ahead in life.
