Meet Beau

Beau came to us as a volunteer shortly after our relocation to Meadowbrook. She had heard great things about Substation33 through a relative, and was encouraged to come in as a way to connect socially after a period of isolation. Beau had been a primary carer for many years, and has found Substation33 a supportive environment, where she has been able to clear her head and connect with wonderful people. 

Beau has tried her hand at all sorts of things at Substation33 including soldering, deconstruction and more. She had the right attitude and personality and quickly proved to be a valuable help in our rapidly growing administration area. This has led Beau to becoming a valued Substation33 staff member, using her natural people skills working in the front reception area. You will find Beau greeting and inducting volunteers and conducting some of the many tours that take place at Substation33!
