What is this then?

Q: What do this cat and this sheep have in common with a Powerwells and PowerWells Mini?

A: They both use acrylic from recycled flat screen monitors. The acrylic itself can be cut into complex shapes and can form robust and resilient interlocking packaging, or can be used in more creative ways to make cool crafty stuff.

If you look in the background of the photos you will notice that the monitor stand in the background is made out of the same acrylic as well.

At Substation33 we repurpose components such as this acrylic to use in our products in a variety of ways. This is one reason why the deconstruction of e-waste is important - we hope to give components a second life and keep them from landfill for as long as possible.
