Naidoc week 2024

Naidoc week 2024 is here and Substation33 is flying the Naidoc colors in celebration. We pay our respect to Elders past and present, who across every generation, play an important role in our communities. They are cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, teachers, survivors, and leaders.

Naidoc Week is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing culture.

This year's theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced. Many of our Substation33 crew went to the Naidoc family Fun Day at the Kingston Butter Factory, and we have a lot of great photos to share.
