Solar Trailer Barista Training for BHC Residents
We were delighted to lend our Solar Powered Coffee Trailer and Brad, our number one barista, to the Coffee Connections Barista Skills Training Program being run by BHC, an industry leader and innovator within the field of affordable housing.
Last week BHC launched the Coffee Connections program that aims to provide residents of their Bowen Hills Facility with hands-on skills development in preparing speciality coffees using a commercial coffee machine, under the guidance of Brad, a qualified barista. Using our solar powered coffee trailer, residents will develop a range of skills to become confident in all aspects of coffee making. Upon completion, residents will receive a Certificate of Barista Skills, which can be included in their resume to support future career opportunities in hospitality.
Day one was a great success and residents are eager to participate in the next 3 sessions. BHC has announced plans to bring the Coffee Connection program to their Fortitude Valley residents in the near future. Stay tuned.
