Substation33 is a safe space for volunteers.

We have strived to make Substation33 a safe space for people from all backgrounds to work and learn. Many of our staff were originally volunteers who got back into work through connecting with us.

Substation33 has volunteers that come to us because this kind of environment is a great place to reconnect with or develop your skills. We offer a way for people to connect with others in a constructive and supportive workspace. One such volunteer is Trent who is interested in programming. Trent has been coming to Substation33 for about a year now. Even though personal tragedy and moving away has made it much harder for him to get to us, Trent always made sure to keep coming to Substation33 a priority. He is one of many volunteers who came here out of curiosity and stayed because he found a sense of community and support. Happy to have you with us Trent!
