Troy and Colby

Troy and his support worker Colby (from IAAY support services) have been coming to Substation33 for a bit over two years now.

During his time at Substation33 Troy has learned valuable social skills and now has a great place where he can socialise with people and also keep himself busy. Colby has noticed great changes in Troy over time, becoming more comfortable with other volunteers and engaging in deconstructing e-waste.

In fact Troy has grown so much confidence that he is able to work independently, while Colby helps out with our Friday BBQ’s. So on a typical Friday you can find Troy and Colby in unit 10 @ Substation33
