Volunteer driving mentors wanted.
Do you have a driver's licence? Are you looking for an opportunity to give back to the community, meet new people, and help change lives for the better? We would love to hear from you. We are always on the lookout for experienced drivers to take part in our P2D “Pathway to Driving” program. This program seeks to pair up experienced drivers with one of our younger participants who are learner drivers, but lack access to a suitable car to drive or a suitable adult supervisor. Getting a car and a licence is one of the first big steps we take into adult life, and having a licence = wanting a car = needing money = needing work = seeking meaningful employment.
If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity, or have other valuable life skills you can offer, then please contact us via email (info@substation33.com.au) or phone (3826 1533). Not only will you help change lives, you will have some eye-opening conversations with some amazing young people, and end up learning a lot yourself. It’s a win-win!

Here are some of our previous trainees that we have supported to get their P plates.
