We want to highlight one of our volunteers Sylvia:

Sylvia comes in to Substation33 to keep her mind busy and enjoy social interaction. She says it is a very accommodating and supportive place for people with mental or physical conditions. “People will help you, not question you or make you feel inadequate. Good company and a busy mind is better than lying at home feeling sorry for myself. I was able to come in and find something to work on despite my physical difficulties. It’s one of the reasons I love Substation33, there is a flexible and caring workplace for people like me and my contributions are valued”.
