We would like to do a shout out to May.

May Is a third year social work student who is currently completing her work placement at Substation33. May comes from Burma and is passionate about helping her community integrate into Australian society. May quickly saw an opportunity to enlist the community of volunteers at Substation33 to assist with this project, organising a series of language exchange days. These days have been fun and incredibly valuable to both the Burmese participants and the volunteers. May has also been very busy setting up her own NDIS support network to help those with language and cultural barriers. Emma went along for opening day last week, which was a huge success. Please check out the attachments to this post for more information.
