Youth SHINE day

Substation33 rolled out the solar coffee trailer to support the YFS Youth Week event at Rowan Park.

SHINE is a day of celebrating our young people and their contribution to the community. Various community organisations came together for a day of activities. Attendees also enjoyed a BBQ, popcorn, drinks, sports, live music, open mic performances, reptile cuddles, giveaways, lawn games, and heaps of good chats.

A big thanks to Youth SHINE Organisers : Logan City Council, BEST Disability Support, Yourtown, Youth off the Streets, The Street University Logan, Maxima Group, Tursa Employment & Training, Bridges Reconnect and YFS for hosting us!

A great day was had by all and a little rain did not even interrupt the flow of coffee (much).
